I was kind of freaked out last night when I suddenly couldn’t seem to switch on my laptop. Horrendous thoughts of losing all my precious files flashed through.

IT experts, how do you suggest I backup all my files? Burning them into CD-RW or what?

Fuck the boyfriend.

Fuck the handphone that refuses to charge up.

Fuck the tons of notes to read and past year exam papers to do.

I’m pissed with the world and myself.

And by that, I meant it literally.

In my previous hall room, pests that had entered my room via the open window (yes it can get damn stuffy in the room have to keep the windows and door open) included

1. the noisy lizard which later became a permanent resident living behind the refrigerator;
2. a disgustingly humongous grasshopper the length of my 20cm ruler or more that was in the midst of delivery but still hopping around, which got both my boyfriend and I fleeing the room to run around searching for pesticide which I finally managed to loan it from a random neighbour in the opposite block;
3. a flying nymph (teenage cockroach cos going by its size, it didn’t look like a full-fledged adult) and
4. assorted flying insects like moths and butterflies.

The worst or most interesting experience in dealing with these pests would have to be the grasshopper that was in the midst of laying an egg pod. To cut the long story short, after throwing newspapers, slippers and what not at it, we finally killed it with trusty Mortein and its egg pod was still stuck in its vagina ovipositor!!! Sibeh gross lah.

And now in my new room, once again, my sanctuary was invaded by yet another lizard a few nights ago and just few moments back, a mega huge bee (look like queen bee)!

I doused it with sprays of my Mortein. It fell and I couldn’t see it anymore. Then I went to pee and when I came back, I couldn’t trace the bee. And now I am worried. What if it starts building a hive in my room if it isn’t dead? Holy crap!

WHAT SHOULD I DO? By the way, how do I get rid of those dastardly lizards as well?

p/s: I’m considering fumigating my room by closing up all openings and spraying the entire room with Mortein and hopefully smoke the bee out if it is still somewhere in my room.

I haven’t slept in 24 hours. Staying up to study was a complete waste of my time, seeing how I still couldn’t remember my formulas and not being able to solve the questions. I should just spend more time brainstorming how to cheat my way through without getting caught and still score!

Hopefully, I will be less of a pig from now, and spend more time studying than sleeping in the next 8 days. Realistically, to catch up, I think even staying up for the next 96 hours non-stop won’t be of much use. Sigh. I’m so fucked.

It’s now 5 papers left to the end of exams, 3 next week and 2 the following.

Good griefs, this semester I am targetting to have zero failures, but looking at my study rate, I’ll be glad to just fail 2.

Now that’s an improvement I say. Probably not for you smarty pants out there.

I think most friends know me as someone who can’t stop yakking.

I can just talk on and on, about something, about nothing, or talking just to be heard. Maybe I like hearing my own voice eh?

It has been tough lately, with boyfriend, cos he isn’t a listener like the ex. Nor is he patient enought to hear me speak. Nor is he understanding enough to empathasie with my need to rant. And worse, he’s currently the only person left whom I hang around with, to study.

And for a moment, I felt like Hello Kitty.

Currently watching The O.C Season 4 on Youtube. That’s so sinful, considering I have not completed revision for the first paper on Thursday and am even wayyyyy behind for the other modules.

And not to mention, I’m catching up on past blog entries of LMD. I so ought to be spanked.
